Course content
The concept of communication. Social communication. Non-verbal communication. Verbal communication. Paralinguistic displays and communication. Communication and interpersonal relations. Effective and ineffective communication. Barriers in communication. Stage-fright. Selected forms of social communication.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The term communication. Social communication. Pedagogical communication. Verbal and non-verbal pedagogical communication. The role of questions and answers in pedagogical communication.
Development and cultivation of communicative skills with regard to the issue of teacher communication.
Prerequisites
Basic skills for university study in the field of helping professions. Interest in the field, a willingness to work independently and in a team.

Student performance

Fulfilment of individual theoretical and practical tasks, independent creative activity.
