Course content
50 hours / 45 minutes (1 week) expert clinical experience in a hospital setting. The practice can be studied on obstetrics-gynecology departments and the department of surgery and internal medicine, in infant homes, in facilities with all-day stays for children..

Learning outcomes
Students in terms of clinical medical centers deepen theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired theoretical study of theoretical and practical study disciplines in theoretical and practical classrooms. During the practical training will operate independently under the supervision of a mentor of clinical practice, they will work responsibly, deepen their communication skills with the client / patient, clinical staff work and learn to work in a team.
Students will be able to: identify individual bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of the clients; develop long and short term nursing care plans and daily records; work with documentation on the jobsite; empathically access client and her entourage. They learn to work in teams, communicate with the patient / client and other team personnel in the department. Students will provide care in midwifery based on Evidence Based Midwifery
Prerequisites
Theoretical knowledge of basic nursing skills and procedures, knowledge of the principle and the various stages of the process of care in midwifery and zanalost basic nursing care. Fulfilling theoretical courses and professional clinical practice within the first year.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Dialog, Seminar Work

Submission of completed forms and portfolio assessment relating to the practice. Processing survey of nursing diagnoses according to the principles of the Alliance 3N (Nanda International Nursing outcomes classification, Nursing intervention classification) according to the specialization department where the practice is carried out. Demonstrating the theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the practice in individual departments. Submission of nursing documentation of one patient hospitalized in the department (patient assessment, a draft plan of nursing care, implementation of care for patients).
