Course content
The Midwife will provide highly specialized patient care for individual departments and will perform unit-specific tasks.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the practical training is to prepare a midwife for the implementation of theoretical knowledge into the practical handling of the highly specialized care of risk and pathologically pregnant women hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the delivery room, a new-born hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit, a child over 10 years of age in a paediatric intensive care unit with failing vital functions or danger of such failure.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to provide a highly specialized care in midwifery to a woman in the delivery room, at the ICU, to a new-born at the NICU, a child over the age of 10 in the Paediatric Department's ICU.
Prerequisites
The student focuses on the issue of highly specialized care at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, neonatology department, pediatric department.

Student performance

100% attendance in the entire practical training. Writing a seminar paper on a topic related to the department.
