Course content
Pregnancy, labour, puerperium. Rooming-in. Fathers' presence during labour. Examination methods in gynekology and obstetrics. Gynaecologic inflammations. Tumours in gynaecology. Gynaecological surgery, postoperative care. Urogynecology. Menstrual cycle and its disorders. Sterility and infertility. Planned parenting a contraception. Some of the acute conditions in gynecology and obstetrics.

Learning outcomes
Students receive basic information from the field of gynecology and obstetrics and special procedures, make only for highly specialized workplaces - IVF, and includes a perinatal center. Knowledge are needed in particular for rehabilitation in gynecology and obstetrics.
Students receive basic information from gynaecology and obstetrics, including special procedures performed solely in highly specialized facilities, such as IVF and perinatal centres. Students are familiarized with the information needed for rehabilitation in gynaecology and obstetrics. On completion of the course, the students will obtain theoretical basics conceming . understanding connections of inner and outer factors in clinical phenomena which they will across in their later nursing practice.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy anad physiology.

Written exam, Systematic Observation of Student

100 % attedance at seminars, oral exam.
