Course content
The total scope of the course is 31 hours, of which 16 are contact hours (2 lectures, 8 seminars, 6 exercises) and 15 non-contact hours. Main topics: - health care focused on prevention - historical overview - programs Health for all until the 21st century (WHO, national variants), Health 2030 - nursing in the primary sector - home care - history, forms of home care, spectrum of services provided - home care agencies - client assessment, evaluation tools, documentation - nursing process in community conditions, care for the elderly - community nursing care for mental health - community nursing care for persons at risk of social exclusion

The course characterizes community care and its importance in relation to promoting the health of the community, family, and individuals in connection with international and national health programs. It focuses on home care provided to patients in their natural environment, including social services and residential facilities.

Active participation in exercises, max. 30% absence in seminars, defense of a presentation of a community facility according to the Register of Social Services, based on your own choice of target group and location.
