-Human body, bodily functions (skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory systems). -Growth and development; development and aging. -Assessment and evaluation (musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary). -Joint disorders and injuries. -Nutrition and healthy life-style. -Reading and understanding research papers in English.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will perfect their general English competency; they will broaden their knowledge of grammar at intermediate level with an insight into the specific features of medical English; they will master basic medical terminology and acquire knowledge of physiotherapy areas; they will be able to read, understand and translate medical texts in English.
Students will gain background for further usage of English in their professional career.

Prerequisites

Minimal English language ability at level B1/B2 - intermediate.

Written exam
Seminar attendance and activity, seminar paper. Credit test.
