Specificities of services in the CR. Room and board and transportation. Management of an accommodation and catering establishment. Travel agencies and associations. Management of a travel agency. Financial, money exchange, and insurance services. Passports, customs, visas, balneology.

Learning outcomes
|
Detailed characteristics and description of techniques of different services in the tourist trade is the content of the study. Room and boar, transportation and the mediating activities of agents. Students will be informed about the basic activities of a travel agency, transport firm, public catering enterprise and a hotel, including management. Explanation of further services provided within the CR is also a part of the course - insurance, visa, balneology.
Skill in using the student´s analytical ability. The ability to identify and evaluate the quality of services available in the Czech Republic.

Oral exam
Requirements Participation in teaching sessions, maximum of three absences, seminar paper.
