Lecture topics: 1. Introduction, basic anatomical terminology, skeleton in general. 2.Muscles of the brachial plexus and arm. 3.Muscles of the forearm and hand. 4.Muscles of the hip joint. 5. Muscles of the thigh. 6. Muscles of the tibia and leg, arch of the foot. 7. Muscles of the head. 8. Muscles of the neck. 9. Chest muscles. 10. Abdominal muscles. 11. Pelvic floor muscles. 12. Back muscles - superficial layer 13. Back muscles - deep layer Exercise topics: 1. General osteology. 2. Spine as a whole, vertebrae. 3. Skeleton of the upper limb. 4. Skeleton of the lower limb. 5. Skull. 6. General arthrology. 7. Articular connections and ligamentous apparatus of the upper limb. 8. Joint and ligamentous apparatus of the lower limb. 9. Ligamentous apparatus of the axial organ and head. 10. General myology. 11. Demonstration dissection.

Learning outcomes
|
This course provides students with morphological structure of tissues and organs, with topographic anatomy of particular structures. As a part of the instruction a dissection in department of pathology in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will be demonstrated.
Students know functional and topographical anatomy of movement systém.

Knowledge of biology on level of secondary school.
