Course content
|
Thematic headings: General - Definition of the subject for physiotherapy. Introduction and definition of the field. Basic Latin-international nomenclature used in practice in pathological anatomy. Regressive and progressive changes. Main macroscopic and microscopic pathological changes. Inflammation and neoplastic diseases. Congenital defects. Combinations of pathological changes. Death and cadaveric changes. Special section - Individual systems of the human body with the main types of disorders from a pathological-anatomical point of view. Overview of the main pathological-anatomical disorders in the circulatory, respiratory, blood, gastrointestinal systems, uropoietic, nervous, immune, musculoskeletal system - disorders of bones, joints, muscles and tendons.

Learning outcomes
|
In the universal portion the students are acquainted with basic terms and mechanisms which are included in a content of pathologic anatomy.

Prerequisites
|
The basic prerequisity is completion of the first year of study and passing fo courses Basics of Latin language, Human anatomy and Human physiology. Students can take part in lectures from pathology anatomy and pathology physiology also without knowledge gained in the courses named above but it won't be allowed him/her to pass the exam.
