Course content
1. Rehabilitation of patients with knee osteoarthritis and after total knee arthroplasty. 2. Rehabilitation of patients with hip osteoarthritis and after total hip arthroplasty. 3. Rehabilitation following upper and lower limb fractures and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). 4. Rehabilitation following ankle injuries. 5. Rehabilitation following knee injuries. 6. Rehabilitation of patients with tendinopathies, bursitis, and muscle injuries. 7. Rehabilitation of patients after lower limb amputation and management of common complications. 8. Rehabilitation of patients with painful shoulder syndrome. 9. Rehabilitation of patients with shoulder osteoarthritis and after total shoulder arthroplasty. 10. Rehabilitation for vertebrogenic disorders of the cervical and thoracic spine. 11. Rehabilitation for vertebrogenic disorders of the lumbar spine. 12. Rehabilitation for scoliosis and postural disorders. 13. Course review and credit assessment

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with the fundamental principles of physiotherapy for the most common orthopaedic, traumatic, and vertebrogenic conditions. Students will understand the principles of rehabilitation throughout the different phases of treatment and will be able to apply appropriate physiotherapy interventions aimed at improving musculoskeletal function and facilitating the patient's return to activities of daily living.
The student applies the acquired knowledge in clinical practice. The student is able to select an appropriate physiotherapy intervention for patients with orthopedic and traumatic conditions and to apply it correctly in clinical practice.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for this course include sufficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, the fundamentals of kinesiology and examination methods, and the basic principles of kinesiotherapy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Dialog, Written exam

100% attendance in classes and continuous completion of assigned study tasks. To obtain course credit, students are required to successfully complete a theoretical test and a practical examination, during which they must demonstrate the ability to apply the knowledge and practical skills acquired throughout the course. Students are allowed a maximum of three attempts.
