Dissertation seminars are mainly a discussion of the problems of the dissertation between the supervisor and the student. They are run individually or in small groups. In the first seminar, a group of PhD students is expected to be involved in the public presentation of the partial results of the research or part of the dissertation (oral and written) and detailed expert analysis and discussion with the participation of the supervisor (or other members of the faculty council) and other PhD students.
In the first seminar, the PhD student receives feedback from colleagues, the supervisor, and the board members on the subject of his/her dissertation topic.
