Course content

General procedure for obtaining information, technical support, digitized resources and the Internet 2nd Relevant and irrelevant information (intelligence games), active and passive information, communication channels, communication noise, psychological aspects of information retrieval. Learning outcomes
The aim of teaching is to acquaint students with basic methods of obtaining, processing and categorization of journalistic information. Students in the seminars to learn the procedure for obtaining, sorting, analysis, evaluation, processing and storage of information needed for journalistic reporting and journalistic work. The form of seminar work, learn to verify information, determine their degree of objectivity and balance media. An integral part of teaching is the history of printing (intelligence) agencies and the use of their products for journalistic work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Seminar Work

Credit: You get students who complete at least 2 / 3 workshops and develop seminal work in the range of 3 pages on closely related issues of journalistic information. Others who have higher absence, also developed a special seminar on the work of a teacher assigned theme and at least 5 standard pages of written text. Colloquium: verify theoretical knowledge under the thematic headings of the course.
