Course content
1st Structural approach and interactive approach as a methodological framework of the lectures. 2nd Ontogenesis of visual perception. 3rd The imagery as psychosomatic quality, epistemological aspects of visuality. 4th The importance of image in social communication. 5th The development of semantic models - from magical to poststructural 6th Development of visual forms from the beginnings to modern 7th Revolution in modern visual forms. 8th Multistage, structural model of visual expression. 9th Postmodern texture of image forms. 10th Image forms of cinematographic and interactive media 11th Image forms in relation to language. 12th Imagination and creativity.

The aim of this course is to introduce students image in his cognitive and communication functions, as historically more and more deeply structured semantic system.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus

Requirements for credit: - Regular active participation in seminar - Preparation for workshops (knowledge of assigned texts) - Final test (80% success rate) Requirements for testing: - Term paper (5 pages) - Knowledge of the circuits discussed
