Course content
1) Logo - signs and symbols - signs. Concept semiosis 2) Semiosis as relationship of the (inter)subjectivity and the "world". Typology of 'worlds' and characters in terms of "priorities" character, or the world 3) Subject-object relationship - its variants, Instrumentality of the signs, signs as the environment and limit. Semiosis as a game 4) The signifie and the signifiant, the term "content", interdepence of the form and the content , unilaterality and bilaterality of the signs 5) The dimensions of semiotics 6) Typology of character relationships, graduation of their "nature", conventionality, representation 7) Iconicity, analogy, motivation 8) Natural, artificial and constructed semiotic system 9) Graduality of the semantic content of sign with respect to their unilaterity and bilaterity aspect 10) Meaning and function 11) Dialectical relativity of expression and content 12) Social, cultural and historical nature of semiosis 13th The world of semiosis

Learning outcomes
The course deals with the basic concepts of contemporary semiotics. Thus it is not a systematic theory of historical interpretation of the history and character of the signs as an independent scientific discipline, but the objective is to prepare students for understanding the process of semiosis in its complexity, with consideration to the functional unity of different types of semiotic behavior.
