Learning outcomes
|
The course consists of two thematic units: 1. The first unit includes lectures No. 1 to 4. Their purpose is to acquaint students with basic legal concepts and provide them with clear information on the legal structure of the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on basic terminology necessary for the interpretation of media law. 2. The second part of the course content is focused on media law. Interpretation reflects the specific status of journalists in society and the legal aspects related thereto. Lectures are thus in particular the freedom of expression and legal regulation of media in a democratic state.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus.
