Learning outcomes
|
The course is devoted to exploring the emergence and development of postmodern science, transforming scientific understanding of the "postmodern cultural construction". The course is divided into two parts, the first of which is a philosophical reflection on postmodern science and the other notes the current form of postmodern science. The first part is devoted to topics: postmodern philosophy of science and its criticism. The second part of the notes is today a scientific research program and explikuje key concepts: interdisciplinarity, transdisciplinarita, postdisciplinarita, crossdisciplinarita and multidisciplinary. The conclusion is devoted to reflection over the future of scientific research program.
- Ability of critical analysis of advanced academic literature in Czech and English - Demonstration their understanding of contemporary academic literature on the topics discussed in the class - acquitance with the contemporary themes in cultural/medial studies - awareness of existing knowledge of cultural diversity, approached from pluralistic perspective - ability to discuss on cultural, media and societal topics related to the Media studies

Ability to work with specialized texts, including english texts.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars, assigned reading texts and preparing for seminars, successful management of the verification of knowledge of topics discussed in the debate over the week before the colloquium seminar handed works (at least 5 standard pages on the subject previously consulted ).
