Option Czech radio documentary and feature (1990 - 2005): 1. What is a feature, what is a radio documentary. Genre connection with band, drama, radio play. (F. Gel, V. Šťovíčková - Heroldová, K. Kyncl) 2. Probes into the history of both genres and the historical vicissitudes of terminology. (J. Branžovský, Z. Svěrák, I. Fischer, L. Vaculík) 3. Affairs and public art feature, composition. (E. Svobodová) 4. Author's subject in the feature, the relationship of subject and object in the document. (J. Škápíková) 5. Space and time in the document and the feature. (D. Kaprálová) 6. Story versus portrait mosaic in the document and the feature. (R. Lokajová) 7. Literary feature. Elements of dialogue, fiction, hoax, humor. (J. Hanak) 8. Learning outcomes
The seminar focuses on current genres, documentary and feature. Programs will be reflected primarily in the years 1990 - 2005 in the Czech and world context.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus.
Prerequisites
Ability to work with specialized texts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Credit: active participation in seminar Colloquium: Analysis of the selected radio show.
