1. Concept of politics, journalists and politicians 2. Types of political news and current affairs 3. The structure and language of news, commentaries and interviews on the political issue 4. Content analysis of the current (particularly the election), political reporting and journalism in MF Dnes, LN, HN and Právo 5. Television discussions on political issues 6. - 12. Making, presentation and evaluation of their communication on a selected topic related to local or regional policy and its makers

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed for students who are interested in news and current affairs in the sphere of practical governmental, parliamentary and party politics. The methodological part deals: - A simple concept of practical politics and typical genres of political news and current affairs, particularly interview; - Evaluation of nationwide newspapers, magazines and TV besedách and political debates.
Students will acquire skills of the course according to sylabus.

Interesting in news and current affairs in the sphere of practical governmental, parliamentary and party politics. Writing own text.
