Course content
1) Information, redundancy and entropy - stability and dynamics of the psyche and communication. Displasy (Poršněv) and the psychological effects of multimedia on communication. 2) Imitation and (anti)imitation of psychological factors via verba. motivation of communication (asociative) behavior. Imitation as the cognitive key - nonimitation, desimilation, and communication patterns of behavior (Grace). 3) Attitudes as emotional attributes of assertiveness - promoting the objectives of communications / in communication. Melancholy and Laughter (Bergson and Freud), laughter in communication. 4) Psychology of the game. The tension and detension. Communication as the tension and detension. 5) Psychology of the conflict. The game, conflict and Utopia as virtual experiencing of time. Conflict communication. Communication as the therapy of the conflict. 6) Creativity as the psychological problem. Psychology of imagination and creativity. Mental mechanisms of the fantasy (agglutination and loading, miniaturization, etc.) and their effect on communication 7) Exemplification, suggestion, contagiousness - politician as a "borderline personality (Krejci, Grace). Specifics of political communication in terms of psychology. 8) Psychosocial distinction and mass. The mass and the crowd as a psychological category (Le Bon, Freud). Neurotic needs as the diagnostic signal in the psychology of mass communication (Horney, Szondi). 9) Definition of the addressee and the psychosocial focusness of the person - stereotypes and its reading. Stereotypes in communication. 10) Psychology and aesthetics - psychogenesis emotional effect. Information Aesthetics. (Vygotskij). 11) Ethical and religious dimensions of psychology of (James) and the current practice of multimedia communications in the psychology of mass globalization. 12) The problem of civil emotions (the so-called migrant emotions), cross-cultural social psychology of, the crisis left movements (Tailor) and globalization of communication channels.

Learning outcomes
In the second semester of this lecture and seminar oriented series, emphasis is placed on fixing earlier knowledge and creating conditions for psychological training of students. In the seminars aplications of acquired knowledge is developed by application of knowledge obtained and their associated communication skills and their psychological effectiveness. Berne transaction diagnostics dialogue in terms of pragmatics is also practiced, but also common disorders and neuroses in the psychology of mass communication at all levels - from the dyadic communication to the technologically mediated mass communication.

Credits requirements: - Regular active participation in the seminar - preparation for seminars (reading of assigned texts) - successful (75%) completion of final test Requirements for the colloquium: - essay (based on the seminar topics) and its presentation.
