Course content
1. Communication as a system 2. Communication process and communication styles 3. Principles of good communication, communication failures and bad habits 4. Difficult communication situations 5. Communication writing skills ? work with language, forms and formal correction of academic texts, work with literature 6. Text presentation 7. Oral skills ? culture of language, oratory 8. Appropriate teaching skills ? preparation of outcomes according to the aim of presentation

Learning outcomes
The sense of the course will be to explain the participants how to work with expert issues correctly and productively and transform them to popular form; how to present this issues to not academic audience and how to be successful in other than theoretical or practical expert communication skills. Last but not least, students will learn, how to deal with communication faults and minimise the impact of difficult communication situations on the final form of the statement.
The course encourages productive work with language by processing popular, administrative or teaching texts. The course facilitates to manage potential obscure communication situations which help the authors to fill their own communication goals.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of the Czech grammar at the high school level, appropriate syntactic and stylistic skills, sufficient language (active and passive). The ability of academic writings in the field of expert interest.
