The aim of the course is describe the basic philosophical problems of the media in a media perspective, ontology, gnoseology media and media practice in analytical way - problems of media conditioned degree of abstraction (words, images, text, technical image), the type of media interaction (capillary, organic, quasi, calf), type media (voice, print, radio, film, television) and type of network (national, public, private, meta), and explain them using selected philosophical concepts of the twentieth century (especially W. Benjamin, J. Baudrillard, M. Castells, J. Derrida, V. Flusser, J. Habermas, Lyotard J.-F., P. Virilio).
To interpret media content from the philosophical point of view.

There will be an oral colloquium at the end of the term. You should be able to discuss your essay you have chosen to write.
