This course provides students with the current topic of czech and world media. The course focuses on the current development of media and their changes. The main frame topics are: the ownership of media, media manipulation, reality or fiction, the influence of new technologies on the media content.

To be familiar with the production processes of all forms of media, be it printed, audiovisual or new media and to be able to apply them in his/her profession. To analyze the functions of media, as a structural element of the media system, in a democratic civil society.
