The content of the lectures and seminars is the subject, methods and definition of the so-called textual linguistics and its key concepts. In the context of the world linguistics of text, the concepts of the representatives of Czech and Russian text linguistics (Daneš, Palek, Sgall, Padučevová, Galperin, etc.) are critically examined. The subject of interest is the very concept of the text, its construction and boundaries, the interpretation of the so-called discourse and the analysis of such constitutive categories of the text as cohesion and coherence, anaphora, reference and d..
