Course content
|
Parts of speech definition - verbs, cardinal numbers, participle; grammatical aspect, voice etc. A functional systematic approach and a comparative view of Polish and Czech with respect to the interferential phenomena are applied in this course.

|
Systematic overview of Polish language structure compared to the Czech one, theoretical background of contemporary Polish linguistic system.
Standard communication skills and knowledge of Polish grammar.

Prerequisites
|
Basic communication skills. The course is not intended for students whose native language is Polish and who are not studying the study programs of the Polish Section of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Good results in partial assessment tests, 80% attendance.
