Course content
1-3. Finance. Banking, loans 4-6. Culture and politics of the Baltic states, Ukraine, and Belarus 7-9. Culture and politics of Central Asia 10-13. Culture and politics of the South Caucasus

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
Students will continue to develop their communication skills through topics related to everyday life, taking into account the practical focus of their studies. Particular emphasis will be placed on role-playing communication scenarios in collaboration with other students (situational dialogues, polylogues) based on audiovisual materials. A significant portion of the course will be devoted to intercultural understanding (political and cultural-political realities of the countries of the former USSR, excluding Russia). During the course, students will utilize the vocabulary and communication skills acquired in the previous courses Communication in Russian 1, 2, and 3.
Strengthening communication skills in Russian to the B2 level. Expanding vocabulary and critical thinking skills in a foreign language. Broadening students' cultural awareness.
Prerequisites
This course is intended for students who have already completed Russian Communication Exercises 1, 2, and 3. The expected entry level is B1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic

seminar attendance, max. absence rate 2 weeks task completion, preparation, active participation in discussions presentation of a chosen topic Credit test in the form of an essay and discussion on a selected topic
