Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is an introduction to the practical realization of quantitative research, to gain insight into the way how to correctly obtain, verify and process quantitative data. The course will focus on the practical development of the necessary skills, including the definition of the research problem, setting hypotheses, performing operationalization, choosing the technique of data generation, preparing a questionnaire - formulation of questions and dramaturgy, basic statistical data processing and interpretation.
Student should be able to design and carry out basic quantitative research - from research strategy selection, research plan preparation to data creation and analysis. The student knows the individual steps of the research process, he/she is able to sort them correctly and can describe their content. They will learn the basic steps of operationalization.
