The course is focused on practical training of field research methodology, which will be realized in the form of several-day trip to a specific location. There, under the supervision of a teacher, students will conduct their own observations, informal and semi-structured interviews and prepare their own field diary.
Based on the training of ethnographic methods (participating observation, writing field notes and their processing) students will acquire basic skills for the subsequent implementation of their own field research.
