Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to critically reflect the basic definition of ethnicity and its conceptualization in terms of its applicability as a scientific analytical category and to capture it in the process of revision, construction and questioning. Basic theoretical concepts of ethnicity (realism / essentialism, social construction, primordialism, etc.) will be presented.
Student will be able to describe, explain and critically reflect the analytical category of "ethnicity" and be able to present critical reflections of ethnicity in terms of practical applications.
