Content of 2016/2017 course: 1) Cognitive approaches in the research methodology - a mapping of cognitive techniques - the immediate validation method 2) Social network analysis (SNA) - theory and basic concepts of SNA - research aplication of SNA (the homelessnes; networks of ethnic minorities) Lecture and workshop annotations as well as the complete list of course readings will be sent to the registered participants by email.

The aim of the course is to introduce the participants to theory and aplications of new methods of social science research (cognitive approaches; social network analysis). In year 2016/2017 the course will be taught by professionals from the leading sociologist institutions (Charles University in Prague; The Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences) FF UK. It will consist of 2 lecture-seminar meetings.
