This course is focused on the important Spanish literary movements and authors from 12th to 15th centuries. The seminar is based on commentaries on the reading of medieval texts in original version.
Knowledge of literary history of given era, ability to interpret and analyse selected texts, application of selected theoretical approaches. |

Basic knowledge of literary theory, development of language and history of medieval Spain.

1. regular attendance and active participation in lectures and seminars 2. preparation for each class, knowledge of the analysed text The final test examines orientation in literary history and theory of given time period. |
