The course will cover the following thematic blocks: 1. Terminology of the field 2. The use of corpora for teaching Spanish as a foreign language 3. Theories of language acquisition and learning (behaviourism, innatism, cognitivism) 4. Methodological approaches in foreign language teaching 5. Grammar teaching 6. Vocabulary teaching 7. Dynamics and affectivity

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to deepen students' knowledge of the methodology of teaching and learning Spanish as a foreign language, contents that the students approached first in Didactics of Spanish 1. In this case, emphasis is placed on the theoretical principles of didactics.
Use professional terminology to analyze ELE methodological approaches and language acquisition theories. Design grammar and vocabulary activities tailored to students' individual characteristics and affective needs.
