Course content
The subject of the KRI / SIL2M course is a detailed acquaintance with the literary work of one or more classics of Italian literature of the twentieth century. In this semester, attention is paid to the work of Primo Levi and Federigo Tozzi. The texts are presented in a historical perspective in order to capture the development of the author's poetry across the most dramatic decades of the last century. Each text is followed by an analysis, both thematically and linguistically. Professional texts will be used to interpret selected works. All materials will be available in moodle. The course ends with an oral interview and a short written work verifying knowledge and skills based on the content of the course.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of contemporary Italian literature, demonstrate in more detail the tendencies of development in this period, with major names of literary life. Students will get acquainted with the emerging artists of the contemporary scene, with the most interesting genres, themes, authorial poetics. Chronological definition is approximately from the 40´s of the 20th century to the present.

Mark, Oral exam, Student performance

Participation in lectures and seminars, reading specified literary and scientific texts, preparing for the exam, presentation of paper, passing the exam.
