Musical compositions and also their specific combination in pairs are selected every year by the chairman of the committee for the State Final Exams and students draw respective pairs. One musical composition is selected from thereinafter list, and especially during its analysis the student should demonstrate the ability to analyze the musical structure, to place the work into the context of music history (comparison of style) and to explain the aesthetic background. The second, short musical composition or compositional part is announced to the student while assigning the questions.
