The course is designed to immerse students in the experience of Romanticism, introducing them to the musical and cultural contexts from the late eighteenth century to the early twentieth century. It also covers the literature and philosophy prevalent during this period.

Attendance: a maximum of two absences is allowed to accommodate for personal emergencies. Active participation in discussions. Passing a written test at the end of the semester.
