Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the forms of education and the basic milestones of its development from antiquity (focusing on ancient Rome) through the Middle Ages to the late 20th century. While the earliest period will be conceived in a European perspective, from the late Middle Ages onwards the focus will narrow down to the situation in the Czech lands.
The student is oriented in the basic milestones of the development of Czech education, knows the most important titles of literature on the topic and typical historical sources.

An interest in the subject is assumed, as well as basic knowledge of Czech and world history.

|
Student performance, Written exam
- active participation in classes (max. 2 absences) - preparation for classes (completion of assigned tasks - readings) - successful completion of the final (credit) test
