The course focuses on reading and analysis of Medieval and Renaissance Latin texts from different genres. The texts are arranged chronologically and thematically in order to give to the students a survey of the development of Medieval Latin prose and to present this prose in its continuity versus European civilisation. The students are lead to make their own interpretation and translation of the texts. The subject is innovated within the ESF project Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness reg. no.
