|
After consulting with the supervisor and the course guarantor, the student chooses a suitable institution abroad or location for field research. He/she devises a plan for the internship and arranges the placement at the host institution or research site. The Faculty International Office must be notified of any internship abroad and the internship must be registered in IS STAG. The internship may be carried out, for example, by visiting libraries and archives, consulting with foreign experts, collecting material for one?s dissertation, etc.

The minimum duration of an internship abroad is ten days. The student must submit a report evaluating the internship experience within two weeks after the end of the internship. If the student has visited an institution abroad during the internship, he/she shall also submit a written confirmation of the completion of the internship from said institution. The student shall also present the results of his/her internship at the annual student workshop.
