Research and assembling all available copies of archival documents and information from the press and other sources for the specified topic. Particular topics and mentors of specific projects are published at the beginning of the semester. 1. Determination of a topic. 2. Reseach of sources. 3. Finding relevant materials. 4. Evaluation of found materials, description of methodological platform, puttung them into a context. Topics for theatre: Documentation work in the video archive Project database of actors and celebrities overhead Evidence and description of collection items Documentation of sources Topics for film, TV: Students can request on the topic any teacher from film section .

The aim is to get acquainted with the methods of data retrieval and processing and the documentation of art and culture in general. It is a practical exercise with archival materials and processes of archiving and documentation of theatre.
Students are oriented in the data collection mechanisms, institutions, databases and other sources. Students are able to evaluate the significance of each particular source for the selected topic, consider the theoretical / methodological basis of individual items. Students can classify derived materials and organize them into a coherent output (eg, in the form of heuristic folder). Students are familiar with the mechanisms of collecting data, archives and other relevant professional institutions, information databases and electronic resources. They are able to work with basic sources. |
