Course content
|
Cycle of lectures will present the beginning and development of non-fictional cinematography. It will focus on key as well as less known authors and works which will be presented in the context of non-fictional cinematography. It will also stress the relations with films which are contra the mentioned works or continue the same tradition or deal with the same theme but in a different manner. The cycle will focus on experimental and abstract film and also the documentary and animated cinematography. The aim is not only historical background of non-fictional cinematography bud also analysis of particular tendencies (their genesis, changes, modifications). Analysis of experimental, non-fictional forms of cinematography.
Introduction of various approaches towards the film theory and practical aspects of cinematography which influenced the development of cinematography of 20th century.
