Course content
1. DIRECTORIAL CREATIVE PROFESSION: FILM EDITING. Sense of the cutting production: internal, external, tact, rhytm and variation. Story as a drama. 2. CREATIVE PROFESSION: FILM IMAGE. Point of view: phenom of uniqueness - composition and size of the shot - space and perspective - light and shadow - color - movement. 3. CREATIVE PROFESSION: FILM DIRECTION. Direction as a skill (Generating), direction as a production (Creation), direction as a subjective aesthetic concept of the sense of the world (Existence) 4. Commented projection and analysis of the film: Keith Griffth "Abstrakt cinema" (Intellect and awareness of emotion)

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
Cinématographe. Introduction to the spiritual thinking of the film. Introduction to the problematics of the rise of cinematography in general context. Apart from the technical aspect the attention is paid also to the humane and spiritual thinking and cultural-social relations which influenced the rise of the film. All the subject matter is conceived as a complex of lectures, analyses and mandatory projections of films. Stress is laid on the understanding of a film as a thoroughly principially new conception of the artistic thinking.
Elementary overview of the connections of spiritual principles that have been generating the artistic film during the historical and social development of the aesthetical thinking.
Prerequisites
Interest in the the history of mankind, praehistoric art, origins of cinematography and artistic thinking in general spiritual context and in relation to the film.

Written exam, Seminar Work

Attendance at lectures, mandatory screenings.
