Course content
The course is based on independent work and the student's individual initiative, combined with regular consultations with the course coordinator. Following an initial agreement at the beginning of the semester, these consultations take place at least once a month, including during the examination period.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to foster peer mentoring among students, particularly by involving students in later years of study in assisting their junior peers with practical aspects of university life. These include becoming familiar with study plans, selecting courses, developing effective study habits, facilitating reading groups, assisting in the library, supporting evaluation activities, and participating in a buddy system designed to strengthen cohesion within the student community and encourage students to learn how to learn.
Students will develop their skills in empathy, self-organisation, mentoring, and leading a small team.
Prerequisites
No prior specialist knowledge is required. Students should be interested in peer support and willing to collaborate and share their study experience.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active and regular participation in mentoring activities, reliable communication, and responsible completion of agreed tasks are required. Depending on their experience, students are also expected to assist with reading groups, library activities, evaluations, or other activities that support the student community.
