Course content
|
1. Transcribing of handwritten Czech texts from the 16th to 18 century. 2. Excerpts vocabulary of these texts to the databasis, which the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences operates. 3. Training and methodological guidance of experts in paleography and the Czech humanist and Baroque periods.

|
Content is the vocabulary of humanist and Baroque Czech and database of Czech texts 16th to 18 century.
Students acquire or deepen the following skills: Czech transcription of early modern manuscripts, analysis of early modern czech texts, working with electronic databases humanist and Baroque Czech language.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of the Czech history in early modern age, development of czech language and humanist-baroque czech paleography is an advantage.
