Course content
|
The work in the seminar will be divided into three parts: 1) Practice of problematic orthographic, syntactic and stylistic phenomena 2) Working lecture focused on a new phenomenon 3) Proofreading of existing texts and production of own forms of professional style Program: 1) Characteristics of professional style, types of professional texts 2) Structure and composition of professional text, functions of individual parts of professional work (annotation of work, introduction, methodology, characteristics of the obtained material, analysis, synthesis, commentary on the obtained data, conclusion) 3) Work layout, project preparation 4) The most important forms of professional style - written and spoken (their characteristics, analysis, practice) 5) Work with sources, citation standards 6) Preparation of questionnaires Odeslat zpětnou vazbu

Learning outcomes
|
Students will master the rules of writing professional style texts, are familiar with the requirements for the construction of basic genres of professional style, will reveal shortcomings in existing professional texts and correct them. They are familiar with the citation norm and citation ethics, and master the norm of professional communication.
Students master the norms of professional communication, adequately interpret scientific texts, master the rules of professional communication genres and are able to produce them themselves. They recognize violations of the norm in existing texts and carry out proofreading. They master the citation norm and follow the principles of citation ethics.

Students master the basics of academic communication standards, adequately interpret and produce texts in a academic functional style.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Requirements for awarding credit: 1) Active participation in the seminar, two absences per semester are allowed 2) During the semester, two seminars will be set aside for independent work - analysis and critical evaluation of the selected bachelor's thesis. The student will prepare a written evaluation of the work and present it to other colleagues. 3) Preparation of the planned qualification thesis project
