The formation of the modern book market at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries; the influence of modernity on the form of the book 4. The book market of the First and Second Republic; the influence of the avant-garde on the form of the book; the Czech book market during the Second World War 5. The centrally controlled book market in Czechoslovakia in the years (1945)1948-1989; mechanisms of production and reception 6. Transformation of the book market after 1989 and its stabilization in the 1990s. 7. Czech book market in the new millennium I: professional and business structure 8.
