Course content
|
1) Analysis of the sentence, basic approaches. 2) Valence verbs, valency potential and valence field, grammatical sentence formula. 3) Complement and grammatical completion of the predicate. 4) Intense, intentional field. 5) Actuators, semantic complement of the predicate, semantic constraints in occupying positions. 6) Fall, its syntactical function, lexical and structural falls. 7) The most common verbal and adjective ties, practical training.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the concepts of the syntactic level and its basic unit, based on the valency of the verb, students will be shown how a complete sentence structure is created, what errors can occur if the valency of the verb is not respected, they will find out what a "grammatically and semantically correct" syntactic unit looks like. Basic punctuation rules, prepositions and connectors will be introduced.
Students will acquire production and reception skills. They will create a sentence that is both grammatically and substantively correct, master basic punctuation rules, recognize the complete sentence structure based on the verb's valency, eliminate errors that can occur if the verb's valency is not respected, find out what a "grammatically and semantically correct" syntactic unit looks like, and use prepositions and connectors functionally.

Prerequisites
|
Students manage the Czech language at B2 level. They actively acquired basic linguistic terminology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Didactic Test, Dialog, Written exam
Students acquire the substance discussed in the seminar. They actively form the Czech sentences, recognizing a syntactic error in his testimony, they use prepositions and connectors appropriately.
