Obsah předmětu

The aim of the seminar project is to enable students to work on a given research task and to assess their ability to work independently, including defining research objectives, selecting an appropriate methodology, finding and critically evaluating information sources, conducting their own research, and drawing relevant conclusions. The topic is selected in consultation with the supervisor and in accordance with the faculty/department timetable. Students consult on their project work as directed by the supervisor.

The aim of the seminar project is to enable students to work on a given research task and to test their ability to work independently, i.e. to define research objectives, choose an appropriate methodology, find and work critically with information sources, conduct their own research and draw relevant conclusions.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: formulate a research problem and define research objectives; search for, classify, and critically evaluate relevant scholarly and professional sources; select and justify appropriate research methods; independently carry out a research task in accordance with methodological principles; analyse and interpret research findings and draw relevant conclusions; prepare and present the results in the form of an academic paper in accordance with academic standards and, citation ethics. effectively plan and manage their own work and collaborate with the supervisor throughout the research process.
