Course content
|
The seminar deals with following topics: history and concept of rhetoric, public speech, style and kinds of speech, vocabulary of public speech, utterance syntax, nonverbal communication, pragmatic features, typology of the speaker

Learning outcomes
|
During the seminar, the main terms of the speech culture, rhetorics, and pragmatics will be presented. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of rhetoric: history, interdisciplinarity, structure of speech, typology of the speaker, etc., which they can apply in communication.
Students can apply the knowledge of the rhetorics and speech culture during their studies, same as at their future jobs.
