Course content
Practising of language skills in general Swedish: - speaking - listening - reading - writing you will practice all basic skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) and also get the opportunity to use the skills in the classroom in dialogues, role-plays and other practical sessions. Language level A1 - A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR

Learning outcomes
This is the first semester of the two-semester course Swedish for beginners with native speaker. It is aimed at students with no previous experience with Swedish. The course concentrates on practising all of the competencies: - speaking - listening - reading - writing Textbook: Rivstart A1+A2, Textbok and Övningsbok. The material is available in MOODLE.
Development of language skills in general Swedish: - speaking - listening - reading and - writing At the end of the course you will be able to make simple conversation, understand simple written messages, ask for directions, and similar basic skills. But most importantly: you will have the foundations on which to continue your studies of Swedish. Language level A1 - A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at students with no previous experience with Swedish.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Didactic Test

Credit: 1. Course attendance - maximum of 1 absence. 2. Regular home preparation, especially written homeworks. (Absence from the classes is in no case a reason for being unprepared in the following tutorial. If the student is not prepared, he can be regarded as being absent.) 3. Passing all so-called "small" tests during the semester (passing level always min. 60%). Students who have not achieved given passing level shall write a comprehensive credit test in the following exam period. It is possible to repeat an unsuccessfull "small" test but no later than 2 weeks after it has been written. 4. Final credit test Warning: Students are obliged to finish every course by the end of exam period of the semester in which they enrolled for the course (and only on the terms set by the teacher)!
