Learning outcomes
The course objective is to build up grammar and vocabulary skills though lectures, dialogues and self-study in the following areas: shopping, cooking, food, place and travel descriptions, past tense naratives. After the course you should be able to: talk about what you do in your free time express current activities describe flat/house do the basic shopping ask for and give instructions write and understand e-communication
After the course you should be able to: - shop - ask for and give instructions - share experiences - describe current events - communicate via modern e-media
Prerequisites
This is the second semester of the four-semester course conducted in English and Czech. According to the Common European Framework of Reference, the students who take the whole AZ course should begin at level A1 and are to reach level A2. The exam can be taken on condition that the student has successfully passed AZ1 and AZ2 courses. The students will register for exam in STAG at the beginning of the semester in which the exam is to be taken

All students must: - sign up in the electronic system STAG at the beginning of each semester; - sign up in the electronic system Moodle after the first class Credit requirements: All students must: 1. attend the classes regularly, participate actively (2 absences max.) 2. pass the final credit test (70% min) 3. pass the oral exam 4. submission of all written work in time More information and details during the semester in Moodle system
