Upgrading knowledge of advanced Latin grammar and terminology, reading and interpretation of Latin text regarding academic specialization of student.

Learning outcomes
|
To reach the level of knowledge of Latin enabling student to take its practical use in his/her professional work - translation and interpretation of the Latin text.. The knowledge will be checked by oral exam.
In order to pass this exam, the students must have a good command of the foreign language they have choosen to take the exam, must be able to communicate on topics related to their field of research and must understand subject-related texts and historical sources.

Prerequisites
|
Proficiency in the chosen language on the level of basic grammar and ability of interpretation of the simple text.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Ability of independent interpretation of original Latin text and knowledge of Latin terminology related to the academic specialization of student. The basic orientation in the history of Latin language and Latin literature.
